Benchmark items and estimated cost range

The Dual Diagnosis Capability in Addiction Treatment (DDCAT) Index and the Dual Diagnosis Capability in Mental Health Treatment (DDCMHT) Index evaluate organizations on their capacity to deliver treatment for co-occurring disorders based on more than thirty benchmarks. Most agencies will not be able to take every step to enhance their treatment services. Choices need to be made. Some of the benchmark items have costs attached to them, whereas others do not. The following scale gives the potential cost range for implementation.

  • $ - No cost - $0 to $99
  • $$ - Low cost - $100 to $9,999
  • $$$ - Moderate cost - $10,000 and $39,999
  • $$$$ High cost - $40,000 or more
